Great Books to Self-Teach Algebra

Saturday October 7, 2006
Not everyone can learn with book illustrations and explanations. However, some books are written so well, that even the math phobic will make sense of the math. One of my favorite books for Algebra is Effortless Algebra. I really liked the approach in this book. Extremely detailed solutions to common algebra concepts. Jargon is explained and the step by step approach is one of the best I've seen. This is truly for the person who wants to teach themselves algebra from the beginner to the advanced level. Clear, concise and extremely well written. So if you're like me and don't mind learning or brushing up on skills, give a few of these recommendations a perusal.
