Why Math Journals?

Wednesday April 18, 2007
Math journals or diaries are great when used appropriately. A math journal helps to jog your memory about a specific skill or concept. It also helps you to understand the procedure because you usually explain it in a journal. If you have the ability to explain it, chances are you understand it better! All too often we rely on our memory which can let you down if complete understanding isn't in place.

Keeping math journals are easy! Simply make relevant entries on the process used, discoveries made, how specific problems are solved, what you would do differently next time and much, much more! See full article.
