Send My (3rd-5th Grade) Teacher to Math Camp

Monday September 22, 2008
According to the National Math and Science Initiative, only 29% of 4th graders, 33% of 8th graders and 18% of 12th graders perform at or above the proficient level of math and science.

Golfer Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, have partnered with the ExxonMobil Foundation, the National Science Teachers Academy and Math Solutions to develop a program aimed at reversing this disturbing trend. Since 2004, more than 1,500 teachers have attended the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy to learn innovative ways to engage students and spark their interest in math and science from an early age.

Now, you have the chance to let your third-through-fifth grade teachers know how special they are by choosing them for a chance to go to a cool math and science camp next summer!
