Sunday, October 5 is World Teacher's Day and the theme this year is 'Teachers Matter'. Show a teacher you care by saying thanks or by celebrating with a something special like a treat or a card. Every day teachers work to make the difference, to move student achievement forward and to bring students to their fullest potential. Show you care by taking time to say thanks.

I wonder if there is a “Teacher’s day” in the US. I know that several other countries have Teacher’s Day and the students bring flowers for their teachers as a (much deserved) thank you.
