Asian Students Top the TIMSS Scores Again

Once again with the release of the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), global assessments in math and science, the Asian students top the charts. TIMSS is one of the is the largest studies of student scores for math and science achievement in the world. Each participating country had approximately 4,000 students in 150 schools. Top 5 countries in 8th grade math were: Taipei, China; Rep. of Korea, Singapore, Sar, Hong Kong SAR and Japan.
