It's time to use the holiday theme in math! For our homeschoolers and educators, here's some great worksheets for you: However, one of my favorite activities to do is to calculate the cost of the 12 days of Christmas! A quick Google search will help you find the prices of each of the items.

the formula you posted was for simple interest not compound and if you use it you are cheating yourself out of money. the compound interest formula is:
r (n x^y t)
A = P + (—)

The problem I see as a disabled person is a real lack teachers willing to teach disabled people. Yes, I know it is off subject but I feel strongly about this. As a person who has cognitive and short term problems trying to learn college math, I find it a form of “elitism” from many instructors and Professors.

Dear Fred,

Please consider your local Community College. They all (at least here in CA) have Disabled Student Services, and the faculty are caring and competent to help you. Your persistent effort is the key to success in math.

#4 on the 8th grade worksheet needs some revisions. Where are the friends starting from? Are they even on the same road? If they are “local” friends, starting at “ground zero” they never pass each other. Maybe it’s a trick question.
