As the founder of the world only math and chess integrated learning centre, I would like to share my own 20 years experience of teaching math and chess.
Chess does help math but the more important is how to do it? To just teach chess under the same roof in the same classrooom and expect to get all the benefits of having students improve their math ability by just playing chess is just a dream.
The most effective way of using chess to improve children’s math is to use chess as a conduit to get kids interested in learning math if they are not interested in math. But how to do it? This will take some experience and also develop some math and chess integrated workbooks such as those workbooks created by Ho Math and Chess Learning centre.
Ho Math and Chess created trademarked Geometry Chess Symbols which link math and chess, as such a revolutionary workbook wich integrates math, chess, and puzzles was created.
This amazing worksheets have no problems like he traditional math worksheets, instead students need to hunt or figure out problems by going thhrough puzzle-like worksheets and use chess moves to find all answers.
