Just because it's summertime and most students are on holidays, don't let the great learning that occurred throughout the school year diminish. Take a bit of time throughout the summer to help retain all that information. Here are a few suggestions to keep learning fun:
- Easy and fun games to help learning the multiplication facts
- Car ride math fun
- Pick up a mental math book
- Quick Fraction Worksheets
Keep a little bit of math on the menu all summer and the teachers in the fall will be most thankful.

Great material, thanks. It has been a long while since I raised a child, and am helping with my toddler grandson who was born slightly premature, so your guidelines will be very valuable in directing and coaching him in early math. The information re sorting-before-learning-to-count is where we will soon start. Thanks so much for giving me and his Mom some idea of how to approach early training in mathematics.
