In order to embrace 21st century learning, many educational jurisdictions seem to be piloting iPads in classrooms. One of the best features of the iPad is its app based software. I took a look at the math apps that are available, and was impressed at the numerous concepts addressed. I also found a yearlong study done in California claimed that the iPad was responsible for a 20% jump in math scores. The iPad certainly contributes to hands on and interactive math, once the iPads are in the hands of the students, I'm not sure I'll need much more convincing!
If you've already tried using the iPads in your classroom, let's hear from you.
