Every once in awhile I stumble upon a resource that is too good not to share. I get a large number of email asking for specific problems in math to be solved. However, due to the large volume, it's helpful when users post their questions to the forum as there are many outstanding math contributors to help out. Also, you may be interested in this resource where you can submit your specific problem and receive the answer within a reasonable amount of time. AND, best of all, it too is free.

9 x tables
trick
9 x 7 = minus one away from seven and add up to nine which is two
the answer is seventy two.
9×6 = one less than six is five add up to nine = 54
Also, I would encourage an early typing class tarting in Grade one as
some students can not control their muscles and may never be able to
control their muscles nor have the physical stamina to write for very long (which could be a vitamin deficiency like potassium and maybe not). Also, some students do better with typing because it may be employing a different part of the brain possibly. It is also an eye thing as they can see what they are thinking from a greater distance.

Iris-
Bit confused by your post. 9×7=63 not 72, 9×8=72.
Another trick to multiply by 9 would be to multiply by 10 which is easier and subtract the number that you are multiplying 9 times. For example: 9×5 just do 10×5 which is 50 and subtract 5 which gives you 45. 9×5 = 45. Easy to do in your head.
