The hundreds chart is a valuable learning resource to help young children with counting to 100, counting by 2's, 5's, 10's and seeing counting patterns. Regular use of the hundreds chart from kindergarten to the 3rd grade supports many counting concepts.

All printables are in PDF format.

The above link takes you to 'fill in the blanks on the 100's chart. However, you can also use the filled in 100's chart to have learners find the patterns. To do this, give the child/students a highlighter or yellow crayon and ask them to color in all the numbers ending in 0. Ask what they notice and why they think it is happening. Repeat the process with numbers ending on a 2 or 5 etc. Talk about the patterns they notice.

It is prefereable to provide students with a laminated copy of a hundreds chart for quick access. There are many games that can be played on a hundred's chart that help children learn about counting to 100 and placement and order of number.
