Telling the Time

The progression for learning how to tell the time is as follows:
Start with the hour, move to the half-hour, then the quarter hour and then intervals of 5 and 10 minutes. Both analog and digital should be learned by children in the first and second grades. All worksheets are in PDF.

A full worksheet of blank clocks.

Fill in the hands for the o'clock 1 hour times.

Fill in the hands for the half-hour.

More fill in the hands for the half-hour.

Fill in the hands for the quarter past times.

Fill in the hands for 15 minutes before the hour.

Fill in the hands for the various times.

Fill in the hands for random times.

Fill in the hands for more random times.

Fill in the 'digital' times for the analog clocks.
