From the article: Math in the Kingdom
When you really think about it, one can compare learning math to learning golf! The first one that comes to mind: You'll fail miserably if you have a negative attitude! Have your say

Textbooks

I think that textbooks are a great thing, Yeah, everybody complains about hauling them back and forth to class, but most dont have time or capability to go home and try to find an online book instead of just taking a class set home.

Math and Golf Similarities

1. Many want to master it, but only a few can achieve it. 2. Both are a class act. 3. Normal population always expects a lot from a mathematician and the golfer. 4. Both are suppose to provide unbelievable as well as unimaginable results. 5. Most of the times, both mathematician's and golfer's acts give them instant and wide publicity. Hope to see many more similarities, well, just need some more bias to relate different aspects from mathematics and golf together. Atul Kulkarni
