Applying What you Know: Problem Solving

Monday November 24, 2008
Problem solving skills are skills used for life. They're often referred to as the ability to: reason inductively and deductively, apply logic, infer, analyze and think critically just to name a few. Rarely in life beyond the classroom are you presented with a 'divide the polynomial by reducing and simplifying' or 'solve the following quadratic equation'. Instead, the problem presents itself and you'll need to know what to do and how to do it.

See more about the strategies to become problem solvers in math.
