Do you Use Your Hands to Talk?

If you do, then you're potentially on your way to improved math scores as hand gestures are gaining momentum to help students learn math. We've all known that motor learning is effective and I'm sure we've all had some experience with tapping out a number or using our fingers for counting and this particular study emphasizes the importance once again. A report published in the current issue of the journal Psychological Science provides you with some pretty good ideas on how to emphasize learning with hand gestures.
